Do you require a specific resolution or file size for my digital photo(s)?
To produce a quality enlargement, the file size of your digital photo should be a minimum of 500KB. Typically, an image under 500KB does not have a high enough resolution to produce a good, quality print for our products. Small or low-resolution images cannot be increased without some loss of image quality. If we receive a file that does not meet our size requirements, every attempt will be made to ensure a quality product. However, we are restricted by the digital limitations of small file sizes.
How do I determine the file size of my digital photo?
Microsoft Windows users:

From Explorer, locate and select the file you wish to determine.

Right-click the file and click Properties.

Within the file Properties you will be able to determine the size of the file you have selected.
Mac users:

From iPhoto, locate and select the file you wish to determine.

Once I've determined my file size meets your requirements, how do I send it to you?
If your file size if between 500KB - 2MB, simply choose the upload option when you place your order. The upload time will depend on the file size and your Internet connection speed. Please be patient when uploading a large image. You can verify the image was uploaded by looking in your shopping cart. There will be a thumbnail version of the image you uploaded next to your item.

When sending photos through a photo-viewing program, please be aware that most programs re-size photos for quick transmission. To insure you are not sending a re-sized image, please follow these steps:

Open your e-mail program.

Create a new e-mail message and attach the file by clicking on the attach button.

When the attachment window opens, use the browser to locate your file.

Click ATTACH to insert the file into your email message.

Should I crop my photo(s) before uploading or mailing?
We prefer to receive original, uncropped photos. This allows us more flexibility with enlarging and designing. If you have specific guidelines, please specify in the comments section when you check out.

Please be aware that the quality of your album will depend greatly on the type of print you provide. Larger prints (8" x 10") typically work better for our larger albums. Smaller prints (4" x 6") typically work better for our medium and smaller albums and journals. Matte prints also tend to scan better than glossy prints.
Will my photograph be returned?
Yes. We will return your photograph, in original condition, with your finished product.
Can you change my color photo to black and white or sepia?
Yes. Please choose the appropriate PHOTO STYLE option.
Can you "touch up" my photograph to remove flaws and/or glamorize?
We will adjust color and remove "red eyes", if necessary. Removing flaws or glamorizing will only be done at your request. An additional charge may apply.
Are your products archival-acid free, lignin and pvc-free?
Yes. All of our materials used are Ph neutral (free of acid) to withstand fading, color shifting for archival storage of 75+ years. Our sheet protectors sleeves do not contain hydrochloric acid (pvc free).

What is the process for creating a Photobook?

How many pages does a Photobook contain?
Our standard 7" x 7" Photobooks contain 15 pages (30 sides).
Can more pages be added to a Photobook?
Yes. Photobooks come with 15, 20, 30 or 40 pages. Please contact us for pricing information.
Do you offer Photobooks in other sizes?
Yes. In addition to 7" x 7" Photobooks, we offer 5" x 5", 8" x 8" and 10" x 10". The standard 7" x 7" layout design, as described on the Classic Photobook page, are $200.00. Wedding Photobooks start at $495.00 and include 65 images. Please contact us for additional pricing information.
Once I place my Photobook order, when can I expect to receive it?
After you approve your Photobook design/content, you should receive it in approximately 4 to 5 weeks.
Are your Photobooks archival?
Yes. We use archival quality, semi-gloss paper that is approximately 100 lb. weight.
What type of printing press is used for your Photobooks?
We use a Digital On Demand printing press. We use electronic inks, halftone dot, and 175 lpi. A color profile has been specially developed for the press.
What is the print quality of Digital On Demand?
Digital On Demand printing produces color and texture like an offset press. Offset is a sophisticated printing machine designed to produce fine quality reproductions.

What is the process for creating a Scrapbook Album, Photo Album, Appointment Book or Journal?
Upload, e-mail or mail us your image(s). Our design team will crop your image to fit the album/journal cover. We do not "stretch" or "shrink" your image. The appropriate size is "cropped" out of your image. The original proportions are maintained. Our printing process allows us to produce archival prints with amazing color fidelity. Each print is laminated with a non-glare matte finish that hides fingerprints and resists scratches. To make our covers, we use a strong acid-free board. The dense single ply board is very stable and resists warping. The superior density helps keep corners and edges from denting.
Once I place my Scrapbook Album, Photo Album or Journal order, when can I expect to receive it?
Orders are produced within approximately 7 to 10 business days. Rush orders are produced within 2 business days. Once produced, normal shipping times apply for all orders.
Can I order a replacement of a product that I have previously received?
If your Photobook becomes damaged, we can offer a replacement at a discounted rate. Scrapbook Albums and Photo Albums will be replaced at 50% of current price. In order to replace your product we must have your original product returned.
Do you have a customer satisfaction guarantee?
100% customer satisfaction is our goal. If you are unhappy with your product, please contact us to discuss and we will replace your product. We guarantee our books to be free of manufacturing defects. Missing items, incorrect shipments and defective or damaged merchandise must be reported within 30 days of the shipping date. This guarantee does not cover merchandise damaged through accident or misuse. We do not offer cash refunds. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your product, we will be happy to give you a credit toward the purchase of another item.
Will you use my photos/images without my permission?
We reserve the right to use photos submitted to us as product samples at trade shows, website and publications. However, at your request, we will honor your wishes and refrain from using your photo in this manner.
